Our client, a rapidly growing consulting and financial services firm, is seeking an Accounting Analyst I to join its expanding team. This is a newly created role driven by growth and is well suited for recent graduates or early-career professionals who have built a strong accounting foundation through coursework and hands-on experience during college.
This position is based in the Fort Worth / Mid-Cities area and is an in-office role.
About the Role
The Accounting Analyst I is an entry-level position designed to provide strong training, exposure, and clear advancement opportunities. The role supports core accounting and reporting activities while allowing individuals to develop technical skills, professional judgment, and ownership early in their career.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and support recurring accounting and reporting deliverables with a high level of accuracy
• Assist with reconciliations, schedules, and documentation related to ongoing projects
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records within internal systems
• Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries and follow up as needed
• Follow established processes while learning best practices and contributing to efficiency improvements
• Track work activity and meet productivity and quality standards
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, professional team environment
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of accounting experience, including internships, part-time roles, or accounting-related work completed during college
• Demonstrated understanding of general ledger activity and basic accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (assessment required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
