Accountant - Entry Level

We are looking for a motivated entry-level accountant to join our team in Eden, Utah. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career individual to gain hands-on experience in essential accounting functions. Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial records align with bank statements.
• Process and review credit card statements, identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist in reconciling balance sheets to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare journal entries and other accounting transactions in adherence to established procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively.
• Maintain proper documentation of accounting entries for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
