Position Summary
The Phlebotomist plays an important role in patient care by collecting and processing specimens accurately and efficiently. This position works closely with patients, providers, and laboratory staff to support timely and accurate diagnostic testing while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of two years of phlebotomy or healthcare-related experience preferred.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Emotional maturity and the ability to remain professional under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Collect blood and other specimens according to established policies and procedures.

Process and prepare specimens for testing and transport.

Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labeling.

Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members.

Support efficient laboratory operations and workflow.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
