About the Role
We are seeking a sharp, highly organized Operations Manager with a heavy emphasis on Talent Sourcing to support the Uber AI Solutions team. In this role, you will act as the engine for our freelance network, identifying and acquiring specialized gig workers at scale through advanced sourcing technology and process optimization. This position requires a self-starter who can hit the ground running with no ramp-up period.
Location: On-site at the New York office (RTO guidelines apply)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
What You’ll Do
Top-of-Funnel Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage high-quality freelance candidates across diverse platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, ZipRecruiter, etc.
Advanced Search Strategy: Utilize expert-level Boolean search skills and niche job boards to build a robust pipeline for specialized AI and technical domains
Lead Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for potential freelancers, pitching the Uber AI Solutions value proposition before handing off qualified leads to the screening team
Quality & Fraud Control: Manage the integrity of the top-of-funnel by detecting and filtering bot submissions and fraudulent applications common in the AI freelance space
Reporting & Syncs: Participate in daily huddles with the manager to adapt to fluid client requirements and report on personal pipeline volumes and metrics.
What You’ll Need
Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated talent sourcing experience (specifically top-of-funnel lead generation)
Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter is mandatory, and other platforms like Handshake, and ZipRecruiter is good-to-have
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any discipline
Boolean Expertise: Demonstrated ability to craft complex search strings to find niche technical talent
Operational Excellence: Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume pipelines and daily desk logistics independently
Communication: Strong English proficiency and the ability to interact effectively with internal partners and external vendors.

Adaptability: Proven track record of working in fast-paced, fluid environments with shifting priorities
