Riverside Foundation has a full-time position available for a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). Duties include supervising direct care staff, managing a caseload of 16 clients, conducting annual staffings, facilitating community outings, communicating with guardians, developing and monitoring programs, and attending to the day-to-day needs of clients.
Applicant must have at least one year of experience working with individuals who have a Developmental Disability and a Bachelor's Degree in the human services field.
A clean IL driver's license and good computer skills are also required.
The schedule will be Tuesday-Saturday, with some evening hours included (3-11 & 1-9).

Job Description:
A. Develop, coordinate, and implement training programs for assigned residents to include the following:
1. Direct the interdisciplinary evaluation of each resident for the purpose of establishing priority training areas and goals.
2. Develop and coordinate implementation of habilitation plan programs and activities according to recommendations of the Interdisciplinary Team.
3. Complete ongoing, follow-up and monitoring of resident status in training programs to ensure continued effectiveness and relevance.
4. Develop and maintain resident and staff daily activity schedules to ensure consistent active treatment.
B. Provide supervision to assigned staff to include:
1. Direct supervision and training of assigned staff.
2. Completion of work schedules to insure minimum staff/resident ratios and effective program implementation.
3. Completion of performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures.
C. In conjunction with the Resident Services Director, develop training evaluations, task analysis, program curricula and data gathering methods for use in the Program Department.
D. Coordinate projects and outings necessary to maintaining overall resident appearances and well-being, including hair cuts, shopping trips, etc.
E. In conjunction with the Resident Services Director and coordinator level staff, participate in the formulation of Program Department policies and procedures.
F. Assume Shift Supervisor responsibilities as assigned by the Resident Services Director.
G. Complete special projects as assigned by the Resident Services Director.
H. Assist with agency emergencies as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
I. The QIDP has the opportunity to have unsupervised contact with the clients.
