River Terrace Retirement Community is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Admissions to lead census development and referral relationships at our continuing care retirement community in Bluffton, Indiana.
River Terrace Retirement Community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Short-Term Rehabilitation, and Long-Term Care, providing a full continuum of services to meet the needs of our residents. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a proven track record of building strong relationships with hospitals, referral sources, and the community to increase admissions and overall census.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with facility leadership while representing a respected community known for quality care and strong community partnerships.
Responsibilities
Conduct external sales and marketing outreach to hospitals, physicians, and other referral sources
Serve as a liaison between the community and referral partners
Build and maintain community relationships to promote River Terrace services
Convert referrals into admissions through timely follow-up and relationship management
Screen and review potential residents clinically and financially to determine appropriateness for admission
Oversee and coordinate the admissions process within the community
Plan and host community and referral events to increase visibility and partnerships
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or admissions required
Knowledge of short-term rehabilitation, assisted living, and long-term care services to determine clinical appropriateness
Understanding of insurance coverage and payer sources including Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay
Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to support census growth
