About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-driven service professional to support groups ranging from 1 to 500 employees, including fully insured, level-funded, and self-funded plans. This person will be a key part of our service team and the primary day-to-day HR/benefits contact for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for HR and employees
- Handle eligibility updates, new hires, terminations, and escalated service issues
- Support open enrollment and employee questions
- Process enrollments and changes in carrier portals (CareFirst, UHC, Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser, etc.)
- Work with TPAs (BenefitMall, Kelly & Associates, etc.)
- Manage BenAdmin platforms (Ease, Employee Navigator, BerniePortal, Rippling)
- Maintain accurate records in AgencyBloc, HubSpot, or Salesforce
- Assist Account Managers with renewal preparation and data gathering
- Join client calls as needed throughout the year
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of employee benefits experience (broker, carrier, or TPA)
- Strong understanding of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/HRA/FSA
- Proficient with carrier portals, TPAs, and BenAdmin systems
- Excellent attention to detail — accuracy is essential
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
- Warm, outgoing communicator who can manage multiple priorities
