About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our clients accounting, financial reporting, and analysis functions. This role is heavily involved in month-end close, financial statement preparation, and process improvement, while also partnering with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting
- Maintain lender reporting, including borrowing base calculations
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Assist with annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Develop and maintain financial models, including three-statement models
- Analyze financial results, identify variances, trends, and performance drivers
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPIs for leadership
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and cost optimization
Cross-Functional Support & Process Improvement
- Partner with FP&A, Operations, Sales, and HR to support financial planning and decision-making
- Communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
- Support automation and system improvement initiatives within accounting and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, or FP&A
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with three-statement financial modeling
- Advanced Excel skills required; strong ERP and accounting system experience
- Modular, construction, rental, or leasing industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- High attention to detail, sense of urgency, and results-driven mindset
