Position Overview
We are seeking a CAD Designer to create accurate and detailed 2D/3D models and technical drawings using CAD software. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop high-quality design documentation while adhering to established drafting standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed models and drawings using CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts.
- Update and revise existing models and drawings as directed by engineers or project managers.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and established drafting practices.
- Follow company modeling and drafting procedures to produce clear, accurate, and usable technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into revisions.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working under close supervision and guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or completion of a related vocational/technical program with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Basic knowledge of drafting principles, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
