About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Learning & Operations Specialist to support onboarding enablement, learning operations, and program coordination. This role is critical in ensuring new engineers reach productivity quickly while maintaining consistency and quality across training programs.
Key Objectives
- Act as a central partner for onboarding and learning operations within an engineering organization
- Deliver a high-quality onboarding experience for new hires, interns, and early-career participants
- Coordinate logistics for technical training programs, seminars, and development events
- Ensure Day 1 readiness including systems access, training support, and onboarding structure
- Support foundational technical learning programs and early-career development initiatives
- Streamline processes to reduce administrative burden on leadership and instructors
Core Responsibilities
- Onboarding Coordination: Manage onboarding readiness for new engineering hires (onsite and virtual)
- Training Logistics: Coordinate end-to-end execution of training sessions, seminars, and events
- Training Delivery: Facilitate onboarding sessions focused on professional and workplace skills
- Culture & Values Orientation: Lead sessions introducing organizational values and professional expectations
- Mentorship Enablement: Promote internal networking and mentorship opportunities
- Productivity Support: Provide tools and best practices to accelerate new hire effectiveness

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Instructional Design, Operations, or related field
Experience & Skills:
- Strong organizational and program coordination abilities
- Experience in onboarding, training operations, or learning programs
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to standardize processes and drive execution
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in tools such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and shared file systems
