Hardware Engineer
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina, United States
Working Model: Hybrid – Required to work from the office 1 week per month (EST time zone preferred)
Working Hours: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Travel: Travel to the office 1 week per month

Pay Rate: $71/hr
Position Summary
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and test hardware components and systems that meet high standards for performance, quality, and reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and hardware systems.
- Demonstrate accountability for project cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Work closely with design engineering teams and manufacturing vendors to resolve production-related issues.
- Develop hardware prototypes and validate designs through testing and verification.
- Analyze hardware performance and implement design improvements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in hardware design and development.
- Strong knowledge of hardware design tools and simulation software.
- Experience with PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and system verification tools such as Altium, PSpice, SystemVerilog, and UVM.
- Experience with HDL languages including Verilog and SystemVerilog.
- Hands-on experience with FPGA/PLD development tools such as Quartus, Vivado, ModelSim, and Questa.
- Solid understanding of industry standards including IEEE, IEC, IPC, and quality processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
