An ACA-accredited, traditional all-girls residential camp nestled on a scenic lakefront in the Pocono Mountains. A small, close-knit community where every camper and staff member is personally known—nursing staff are integrated into leadership and camp life, not set apart from it.
Compensation & Benefits

Weekly Pay: $1,200 – $1,400 per week — Commensurate with experience

Job Summary
A residential nursing role that goes well beyond clinical duties. At this small, relationship-driven camp, the nurse serves as a mentor and visible member of the leadership community—delivering personalized care, building genuine connections with campers and staff, and contributing actively to the warmth and safety of the whole camp environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily Health Call and assess camper and staff health needs throughout the day.

Administer daily medications safely and maintain a well-organized pharmacy and medical supply inventory.

Coordinate off-site appointments and urgent care visits as situations require.

Prepare and replenish first aid kits for field sports, the climbing tower, the lakefront, and other camp areas.

Partner with counselors to plan and supply medical needs for off-site camp trips.

Promote healthy lifestyle habits among campers through approachable, age-appropriate health education.

Collaborate with Camp Directors to uphold a safe and healthy environment across all areas of the property.

Communicate with parents and guardians regarding health concerns with professionalism and clarity.

Maintain accurate medical records, medication logs, and required documentation throughout the season.

Participate in camp-wide activities and community traditions—serve as a trusted, approachable presence that campers and staff genuinely look forward to seeing.
Minimum Requirements

Valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Female candidate; required by the nature of the all-girls residential camp setting.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Strong organizational skills; able to manage a clinic, medications, and daily schedules independently.

Excellent interpersonal communication—comfortable engaging with campers, staff, and concerned families alike.

Positive, adaptable mindset suited to the fast-moving, unpredictable pace of a camp environment.
Ideal Qualifications

Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or a prior camp or community health setting.
