Job Summary
Serve as the primary registered nurse for a full-season residential outdoor youth camp, overseeing day-to-day clinical care, maintaining thorough health documentation, and acting as the central point of contact for families and program leadership. Well-suited to nurses seeking purposeful, independent clinical work in a dynamic outdoor environment where their contributions have direct, visible impact on every young person in the program.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver front-line clinical services encompassing first aid response, medication management, and emergency intervention across the full program season

Maintain health records, daily nursing logs, and incident documentation that are complete, confidential, and consistently current

Conduct health screenings at camper arrival and provide ongoing health monitoring as the season progresses

Communicate with parents and guardians regarding camper health concerns in a timely, professional, and reassuring manner

Partner with program leadership to uphold and continuously strengthen campus health and safety standards throughout the season
Minimum Requirements

Active RN licensure or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate license in good standing

Current CPR and First Aid certification

Availability and willingness to reside on-site for the complete duration of the camp season

Collaborative, positive disposition well-suited to a communal living and working environment
