Compensation & Benefits

Weekly Pay: $1,200 – $1,400 (based on experience)

The Role
As a Camp Nurse, you’ll play a central role in supporting the physical and emotional well-being of campers and staff throughout the summer.
This role goes beyond traditional nursing — it combines clinical care with community presence. You’ll treat everyday medical needs, provide reassurance to campers, and be a trusted, calming presence in a dynamic camp environment.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
-
Provide care for routine illnesses, injuries, and medical needs
-
Conduct arrival-day health screenings for campers and staff
-
Respond to urgent and emergency situations as needed

Monitor overall health and wellness across camp
Medication Administration
-
Administer daily medications safely and accurately
-
Maintain detailed and compliant medical records (MARs, logs, reports)

Follow established standing orders and medical protocols
Health Center Operations

Assist in setting up and organizing the Health Center pre-season
-
Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and first aid kits across camp
-
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting
Communication & Collaboration

Work closely with the Camp Physician, Head Nurse, and Directors
-
Communicate with parents when needed regarding health concerns
-
Support staff training on health procedures and safety
Camp Community Presence

Be visible, approachable, and supportive across camp

Provide emotional support and reassurance to campers
-
Contribute to a warm, safe, and positive environment
Qualifications
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
-
Ability to obtain a New Hampshire RN license (cost reimbursed)

Female candidates only (all-girls camp environment)

Current CPR & First Aid certification

At least 1 years of experience working with children or adolescents
