Base Salary: $32–$42/hour — Based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary
Maintain a high-utilization GA piston fleet with a growing emphasis on avionics and electrical systems. The role covers inspections, troubleshooting, structural repairs, and avionics installations, reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance with room for long-term professional growth.
Key Responsibilities

Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft

Conduct and sign off 100-hour and annual inspections in compliance with 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems

Assist with installations of radios, GPS, ADS-B, autopilot systems, and integrated avionics suites

Carry out light sheet metal and structural repairs as required

Diagnose mechanical and electrical discrepancies with precision

Reference and apply maintenance manuals, ADs, SBs, and technical drawings

Log all maintenance actions accurately in tracking systems

Sustain a clean, well-organized workspace at all times

Take part in rotational weekend coverage and AOG response support as scheduled
Minimum Requirements
-
Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)

3 years of experience maintaining general aviation piston aircraft

Prior experience completing and signing off 100-hour inspections

Foundational avionics and electrical troubleshooting skills

Working knowledge of FAA regulations, specifically 14 CFR Parts 43 and 91

Must supply own basic hand tools

Strong documentation and communication skills

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions; comfortable with exposure to fuel, solvents, and mechanical components
Ideal Qualifications

Inspection Authorization (IA)

Hands-on experience with Garmin, Avidyne, G1000, or comparable avionics platforms
