Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting activities. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies within accounting operations
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Westerville, Ohio
