A well-established commercial drywall and metal stud framing contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial and multifamily interior systems projects throughout the Bay Area. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with general contractors, field teams, vendors, and ownership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage drywall and metal stud framing projects from award through closeout
• Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial performance
• Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate material procurement and long-lead items with vendors and suppliers
• Lead subcontractor coordination and maintain communication with field teams and general contractors
• Attend project meetings and maintain strong client relationships throughout construction
• Support project scheduling, closeout documentation, and final turnover
Requirements
• 5 years of Project Management experience within drywall, metal stud framing, or commercial interior systems
• Experience managing commercial and/or multifamily construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project financials
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Bay Area project sites
