We're seeking an experienced Mechanical General Superintendent to lead field operations on large, complex commercial and industrial MEP projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing field crews, subcontractors, project schedules, safety, quality, and productivity while partnering closely with project management to deliver successful projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field operations for mechanical and plumbing construction projects
- Manage project schedules, manpower, subcontractors, and material/equipment needs
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate inspections, project milestones, and closeout activities
- Monitor labor productivity, job costs, and field performance
- Mentor and develop field personnel while promoting a strong safety culture
- Collaborate with project management on scheduling, budgeting, change orders, and planning
Qualifications
- 15 years of mechanical construction experience with progressive field leadership
- Extensive experience managing large commercial, industrial, or mission-critical MEP projects
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, labor planning, safety, quality control, and subcontractor management
- Proven ability to lead large field teams and coordinate multiple trades
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $185,000
