Job Description

The Plant Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial processing facilities, including upstream, downstream, and chemical processing environments. This role involves supporting plant operations after initial separation and processing stages, ensuring safe and efficient performance of equipment and systems. The operator will monitor process conditions, respond to operational changes, and perform routine operational tasks under general supervision. The position also includes supporting material handling activities such as loading and offloading raw materials and finished products into storage systems and transport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant and processing facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Monitor process variables such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level
• Troubleshoot operational issues and perform basic corrective actions
• Perform routine operational tasks independently
• Support non-routine maintenance and operational tasks under supervision
• Load and offload raw materials and finished products between tankers and storage systems
• Maintain awareness of process conditions and report abnormalities
• Follow all safety procedures, operational standards, and site guidelines
• Support overall plant efficiency and production continuity
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

Required Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or plant operations environment
• Basic understanding of pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment
• Familiarity with industrial operations or process environments is a plus
  
  

Technical Skills

• Ability to monitor and interpret basic process variables
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment and process issues
• Understanding of safe operating practices in industrial environments
• Ability to follow operational procedures and work instructions
  
  

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
  

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work in industrial environments
• Must be able to wear required PPE including steel-toed boots
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, standing, and operating equipment

Onboarding Requirements

• Completion of onsite safety orientation and hazard training
• Background check

Pay: $24.50
