Responsibilities
- Manage and control water transfer operations using SCADA/HMI systems, including pumps and valves.
- Monitor real-time system data such as pressure, flow rates (Hz/RPM), and fluid levels in pits and tanks.
- Identify, assess, and respond promptly to system alarms and potential leak indicators.
- Interpret and execute operational plans accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with field personnel and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Make timely, critical decisions in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
- Maintain professional communication when handling incoming calls and messages.
- Collaborate with team members to support continuous operations.
- Record operational data and complete shift reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of systems operations.
- Ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to changing conditions.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in control room operations, SCADA/HMI systems, or water transfer operations.
