What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Picker position at RightStone?
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Order Picker in Pasadena Texas 77507 with $19.00/hr pay for a 12 month contract, temp role. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, preparing, and staging products for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures customer orders are fulfilled correctly, efficiently, and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the shift. Must have experience in warehouse or order picking and physically fit to regularly lift up to 50lbs. – APPLY NOW!
Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, overtime if needed
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners, pick lists, or warehouse management systems
- Locate products and ensure correct item, quantity, and condition
- Prepare orders for shipping including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing
- Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies or damaged items
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (training provided where applicable)
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets
- Assist with restocking and general warehouse duties as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or order-picking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Basic computer or scanner skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting that may involve repetitive lifting, bending, and reaching
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
