Portfolio Accountant

Our client is seeking a Portfolio Accountant to support investment operations with a strong focus on cost basis, reporting accuracy, and data integrity. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the RIA space who is technically solid and detail-oriented. This is a fully remote position.

Portfolio Accountant's Responsibilities And Duties

• Maintain and reconcile portfolio accounting records across multiple accounts
• Calculate and validate cost basis for various asset types
• Prepare and review portfolio reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data sorting
• Collaborate with investment, operations, and client-facing teams to resolve discrepancies
  
  

Portfolio Accountant's Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with portfolio accounting and cost basis calculations
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data organization
• Prior experience working in an RIA environment strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in group discussions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
