Healthcare Field Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Healthcare Field Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and support of low-voltage communication systems within healthcare environments. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Healthcare Field Technician’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Perform installation and cabling of communication equipment, including working at heights (ladders)
• Configure, program, and test system equipment for proper operation
• Maintain accurate daily logs of time and activities
• Provide daily project status updates and maintain open communication with the Project Management team
• Make sound decisions based on logical reasoning and verifiable criteria
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while on customer sites
• Join the on-call rotation schedule once adequately trained
  
  

Healthcare Field Technician’s Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in the installation and commissioning of low voltage, healthcare communication, audio/visual, telephony, VOIP, IT, network cabling, or data communication systems
• Familiarity with healthcare communication systems, public address systems, data cabling, and telephony equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with persistence, tact, and responsibility in sensitive healthcare environments
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between client locations
