Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to manage and support their network environment, with responsibility for design, optimization, and ongoing maintenance. This role supports both IT and OT networks and requires a strong technical foundation, proactive problem solving, and excellent communication skills. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Network Engineer's Responsibilities And Duties

• Own and manage the organization’s network environment end to end
• Design, optimize, and maintain current network infrastructure across IT and OT environments
• Support and enhance IT networks using Check Point and OT networks using Cisco technologies
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, and related network components
• Support Azure cloud networking and integrations
  
  

Network Engineer's Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Strong experience configuring and supporting routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, and WAN environments
• Experience supporting Azure cloud environments
• Working knowledge of Windows systems
• Experience with Check Point and Cisco technologies strongly preferred
• Industry certifications are a plus, especially if kept current
