Network Engineer (MSP Systems Engineer)

Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance their IT infrastructure across networking and systems environments. This role requires a well-rounded professional who not only excels in networking technologies but also brings strong server, virtualization, and cloud experience. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Network Engineer’s Responsibilities And Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including firewalls, switching, and wireless environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and connectivity issues across various environments
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to assess needs and recommend technical solutions
• Support and manage virtualization platforms and cloud-based environments
• Assist with server administration, system upgrades, and overall IT infrastructure maintenance
  
  

Network Engineer’s Qualifications And Skills

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with firewalls, switching, and wireless technologies
• Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
• Experience with Windows Server environments and general IT administration
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Strong troubleshooting skills across both network and server environments
