Our client is a well-established wealth management firm seeking a Junior Financial Advisor to support senior advisors and deliver financial planning and investment services to high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career advisor to gain hands-on experience, develop technical and client-facing skills, and grow into a lead advisory role over time within a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities for the Junior Financial Advisor:
• Support senior advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, education, and risk management strategies
• Help monitor and manage client investment portfolios in alignment with client goals and risk tolerance
• Participate in client meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on action items
• Conduct research and analysis to support planning recommendations and portfolio decisions
• Build foundational client relationships through proactive communication and service support
• Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals, including CPAs and attorneys, as needed
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements
• Support ongoing client service needs and contribute to a high-quality client experience
Qualifications for the Junior Financial Advisor:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in wealth management in a client facing role
• Series 65, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a strong client service orientation
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced advisory environment
Preferred
• CFP track or interest in pursuing CFP designation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial planning software such as Money Guide Pro, Tamarack, Junxure, and Redtail
