Our client is a well-established wealth management firm seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships while providing holistic financial guidance and portfolio management. Please note: A lead advisor on the team plans to retire within the next year, creating a tremendous long-term opportunity for a Financial Advisor seeking meaningful career growth, continuity of client relationships, and the potential to step in as the lead advisor, servicing an established and well-developed book of relationships
Key Responsibilities for Senior Financial Advisor:
• Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth and mass-affluent clients, delivering comprehensive financial planning and investment advice
• Develop and implement personalized financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, education, and risk management strategies
• Design, manage, and monitor client investment portfolios aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, and fiduciary standards
• Conduct regular client reviews and proactively recommend portfolio and planning adjustments as circumstances or markets change
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service and communication
• Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals, including CPAs, attorneys, and estate planners, to deliver holistic advice
• Mentor junior advisors and support team development as needed
• Ensure compliance with RIA regulations, internal policies, and fiduciary best practices
• Contribute to business development efforts through referrals, client retention, and strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications for Senior Financial Advisor:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the wealth management or financial advisory industry, including at least 3 years of holistic financial planning experience
• FINRA Series 65
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a passion for what you do with strong client service orientation
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced advisory environment
Preferred
• CFP designation strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial planning software such as Money Guide Pro, Tamarack, Junxure, and Redtail
