Manufacturing Production Supervisor III

Title: Production Supervisor III

Location: Denver, CO 80216

Duration: 4 Months with possible extension and conversion to fulltime

Shifts:

1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm

2nd Shift 2pm to10:30pm

3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30 am

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.

·         Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.

·         Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.

·         Promote development of cost saving initiatives.

·         Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.

·         Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)

Requirements:

·         2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment

·         1 of more years’ experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles

·         Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce

·         MS office experience.
