Description:
The Quality Control Coordinator will provide administration, documentation, and inspection support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain documentation such as Inspection Reports, Certificates of Conformance, Nonconformance Reports, Corrective Action, Procedures, Audit Reports, etc.
· Maintain quality records
· Manage quality data
· Review purchase orders, drawings, work orders, etc. for accuracy.
· Enter quality requirements into the ERP system.
· Perform measurements in a production, lab, and inspection environment
· Other quality and inspection related tasks as needed.
Competencies:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Detail oriented.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Familiarity with ERP systems
· Ability to read mechanical drawings
· Ability to create the documentation listed above.
· Effective written and verbal skills
· Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and/or other international quality standard.
· Ability to use measuring tools
o Vision systems
o Microscopes
o Calipers
o Micrometers
o Depth micrometers
Qualifications:
· High School or GED
· At least three years of related experience in manufacturing and production required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described below must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer; intermittent standing and walking.
· Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
· Will be required to talk, hear, and see. Vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to differentiate between colors.
· Occasional lifting and moving of up to 15 lbs.
Work Environment:
· This position is primarily performed in an office setting.
· Occasional exposure to production areas.
