For nearly 50 years, our Direct Support Professionals have provided compassion, care, and meaningful support to residents and their families. Your Impact as a Direct Support Professional:

As a Direct Support Professional you will play a central role in helping individuals reach their full potential by providing essential support, ensuring safety, and encouraging independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and shopping.
• Ensure individuals are appropriately dressed and maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment.
• Observe and report any changes in physical conditions, unusual behaviors, or adverse reactions to medication.
• Advocate for and support individuals at home and in the community, including medical appointments and recreational activities.
• Perform household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Immediately report any concerns related to abuse, neglect, or safety to a supervisor or appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Medication Administration Record (MAR).

Requirements:

• Most schedules require alternate weekend availability.
• A valid driver’s license (in good standing for 3 years) is required for most positions.
• Most facilities are not accessible by public transportation.
• Must be compassionate, reliable, and committed to supporting individuals with varying needs.
