Are you a compassionate leader looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? Richmond Community Services is seeking an experienced Residence Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our residential programs.
As a Residence Manager, you will ensure that every person supported enjoys a high quality of life in a safe, caring, and person-centered environment. You’ll lead and mentor staff, build strong relationships with families and the community, and collaborate across departments to maintain excellence in care and compliance with all standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the residence, ensuring individualized, person-centered supports.
Supervise, coach, and develop DSP staff to foster a positive and high-performing team.
Ensure the physical, medical, emotional, social, and safety needs of residents are met.
Maintain fiscal integrity and operational compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a liaison with families, guardians, and community partners.
Promote Richmond’s Mission and Vision in every aspect of the residence’s operation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 3 years of relevant management experience in the developmental disabilities field.
Alternatively, 3 years of supervisory experience with proven success independently managing a group home.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
Valid New York State driver’s license and eligibility for Richmond Driver Authorization required.
Access to a vehicle for travel between agency sites.
