Temporary Full-Time Office Worker – CPA Firm (Narragansett, RI)
Overview:
A well-established and organized CPA firm in Narragansett, RI is seeking a temporary full-time office worker to provide administrative and accounting support during the busy tax season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior accounting office experience who enjoys working in a professional, client-focused environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Full-time temporary role through April 2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact clients to request missing tax information and follow up to ensure timely submissions.
- Assist clients in meeting filing deadlines and maintaining organized records.
- Scan, organize, and create PDFs; upload and download client files from secure portals.
- Conduct daily post office runs and other administrative errands.
- Perform additional clerical and office support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an accounting or CPA office strongly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency, ideally with:
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- PDFfiller
- ProSeries Tax Software
- Zoom
- Excellent phone and communication skills — must be comfortable calling clients directly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Flexible and reliable team player with a professional attitude.
