About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a Controller to take ownership of the accounting function and partner directly with leadership to drive financial performance and growth.

Position Overview

The Controller will lead all accounting operations while providing strategic financial insight to support business decisions. This role is both hands-on and leadership-focused, ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, improving systems, and contributing at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions, including:
  • General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Payroll and bank reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Monitor inventory accounting and cost controls in a multi-location environment
• Partner with leadership on financial strategy and operational decisions
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in retail, distribution, or multi-location environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
• Proficiency with accounting systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, organization, and accountability
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
