Lead Sales Associate - Full Time

Role Overview: This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, maintaining store organization, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain visual displays according to plan-o-grams.
• Assist customers in locating items and operate cash registers efficiently.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and security by performing cleaning tasks and monitoring activities.
• Handle cash transactions, make change, and manage register operations, including authorizing refunds and overrides when authorized.
• Support opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits and adherence to security policies.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong math skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cash register systems and follow safety and security policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
