Principal Systems Engineer – Avionics
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Principal Systems Engineer - Avionics to lead the design and development of next-generation military aircraft in our New Aircraft Design Program. This role drives the future of aerospace technology, overseeing advanced aircraft systems from concept through production.
Responsibilities:
- Lead conceptualization, development, and refinement of complex avionics and aircraft systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (aerodynamics, propulsion, materials, manufacturing).
- Research, design, test, certify, and deploy advanced aerospace products.
- Apply systems engineering principles, including requirements management, risk analysis, integration, and Verification & Validation (V&V).
Requirements:
- BS in Systems Engineering or related field; 14 years relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in multi-disciplinary design, systems integration, and technical risk management.
- Preferred: MBSE, INCOSE certification, DOORS/Rhapsody/NoMagic/MATLAB, aerospace/defense experience.
