We need an experienced Site Operations & Service Manager to support a key customer engagement at a VA Medical Center in the Bronx. This is a hands-on, onsite role responsible for managing day-to-day service operations, maintaining SLAs, and serving as the primary point of contact for the customer.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in printer repair, managed print services, and customer-facing operations who is comfortable working independently in a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to service tickets, diagnose root cause, and repair printers onsite (multiple models)
- Act as the primary onsite contact between the customer, Lexmark Global Services, and subcontractors
- Own and monitor SLAs, ensuring service levels are consistently met or exceeded
- Facilitate weekly/monthly status meetings and provide clear reporting on performance and service metrics
- Support implementation and deployment of print technology, including:
- Inventory and asset management
- IMAC tracking
- Consumables management
- Develop and implement process improvements within the Managed Services environment
- Provide train-the-trainer and end-user training as required
- Support software and firmware releases
- Document current-state and future-state workflows and operational processes
- Partner closely with operations and project teams to support mission-critical activities
Required Experience & Skills
- 5 years of customer-facing experience, including printer repair and onsite support
- Strong experience in Managed Print Services (MPS) or similar onsite technology service environments
- Proven ability to work directly with end users, IT teams, and executive-level stakeholders
- Experience managing SLAs, service metrics, and operational reporting
- Solid technical skills including:
- Printer repair
- Driver and firmware implementation
- Basic networking concepts (IP, SNMP)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently onsite in a customer environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Additional Requirements
- Immunizations required (VA Medical Center environment)
- Ability to support a fully onsite role in the Bronx, NY
- Business degree or equivalent experience (4–6 years)
