The Access Provisioning Specialist is responsible for managing and executing Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient user access to enterprise systems and applications. This role plays a critical part in supporting organizational security standards, regulatory requirements, and day-to-day operational needs by provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning user access across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision, modify, and revoke user access to enterprise applications and systems in accordance with security policies and approval workflows
- Manage access requests for applications including CM8, WMS, and RULES
- Enforce least-privilege access and segregation of duties (SoD) principles
- Perform access reviews, audits, and remediation activities to support compliance and governance initiatives
- Troubleshoot access-related issues and work with IT security, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve them
- Maintain accurate documentation of access procedures, policies, and standards
- Support internal and external audits by providing access reports and evidence
- Monitor and respond to access-related incidents or violations
- Continuously learn and adapt to new IAM tools, technologies, and evolving security requirements
Nice-to-Have Skills & Knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of IT security systems and core security concepts
- Intermediate understanding of LAN access control systems
- Experience with LAN auditing and access management tools and scripts
- Familiarity with enterprise server environments, LAN applications, and subsystems
- Knowledge of industry standards for corporate information security systems
- Understanding of corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Knowledge of governmental program requirements and regulatory compliance impacting information systems
- Strong understanding of internal IS customer departments and their functional access needs
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 4 year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematic or other related area. 4 years of experience can be substituted for degree.
- 1 year of experience in Identity & Access Management, access provisioning, or IT security operations
- Experience supporting access provisioning for enterprise applications, including CM8, WMS, RULES.
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise IT environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
- Effective communication skills for working with business users, IT teams, and security stakeholders
