What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vendor Compliance Admin position at Revman International Inc?
This position is responsible for maintaining compliance documentation related to regulated product and packaging development, supplier information, certification requirements, registry compliance and providing documented status reports to internal Revman and Vendor teams; additional responsibilities include clerical tasks related to the vendor and PLM databases, processing mail, accounting invoices, and compliance related testing documentation.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining current vendor files related to regulated product and packaging supply chain.
- Responsible for assisting packaging design/development with pre-production tasks related to projection review, art file claims/logo compliance, and other brand/retailer regulated compliance approvals needed on packaging.
- Responsible for monitoring Vendor status and maintaining monthly renewal updates for Certification organizations such as Oeko-Tex, GOTS (Organic), GRS/RCS (Recycled), etc. for both product and packaging supplies as applicable.
- Responsible for monitoring Vendor status and maintaining monthly renewal updates for Trademark organizations such as FSC, Lenzing, Solucell’, Cotton relations, etc. This will include application processing, third-party sample/artwork approvals and other forms related to Regulated Products and/or Sustainable Packaging supplies.
- Responsible for monitoring Vendor certification and testing status and supporting renewal needs for special performance claims on packaging.
- Responsible for assisting with clerical tasks related to CPSC/CPSIA testing and e-filing requirements to be documented in product specifications and labeled on packaging.
- Responsible for renewing the Revman Importer License and monitoring other Packaging related registries such as Filled-Product licensing renewals and labeling requirements with all related vendors/suppliers.
- Responsible for assisting team in reviewing development project timelines to confirm all required certified product and packaging compliance issues involving private labels, retailer and brands licensors are in acceptable status.
- Responsible for researching maintenance of Vendor Manual procedures related to regulated product and regulated packaging needs such as CPSC/CPSIA, PFAS, TPCH, P65, etc. with manager review and implementation follow-up.
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and distributing compliance status reports, as scheduled, to management.
- Responsible for keeping the required/regulated historical records organized and providing the Data Content team upon request.
- Responsible for clerical tasks related to maintaining updates, as directed, in the vendor database, the development database, and any related apps, logs, or digital filing.
- Responsible for assisting Vendor Compliance management with processing testing invoices, chargebacks in relation to registration assistance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills (written and oral) in order to effectively communicate and report information to all levels of the Company and effectively communicate with international vendors
- Ability to prioritize work/projects and answer questions related to work assignments in a fast paced environment
- Prior experience in successfully handling time sensitive projects and meeting assigned deadlines
