This position is responsible for maintaining the Warehouse Management System software; as well as solving organizational information problems and requirements by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols, consulting with IT management on upgrades, architecture, interfaces and other server-side services.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for determining operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
- Responsible for designing new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Responsible for resolving software issues submitted by end users
- Responsible for improving systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Responsible for recommending controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
- Responsible for monitoring project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Responsible for troubleshooting order flows and integrations between all systems
- Responsible for maintaining system protocols by writing and updating procedures
- Responsible for providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation
- Responsible for preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the computer or information technology field
- Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation of multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to remain current on applicable technology
- Knowledge of technical aspects of application development and design including .NET (C#, VB), Microsoft SQL Server (2008, 2012), Windows Server (2008,2012), Zebra Programming Language
- Thorough knowledge of information systems concepts and terminology
- Strong work ethic with an emphasis on service and quality
- Ability to function as an effective team member
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Willingness to travel to Revman facilities as needed

- Willingness to be potentially exposed to moving mechanical parts and tools, moving powered industrial equipment, moving vehicles, fumes or airborne particles, high places, changing weather conditions and moderate to high noise level in a Distribution Center environment
