RETTEW is seeking a Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects within our Municipal Team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure improvements while building lasting client relationships. A $10,000 signing bonus is available for this position.

Hybrid: Three days per week in the office.

What You’ll Do
This role requires hands-on experience in designing water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, as well as project management responsibilities. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and technical quality, while providing leadership to project teams and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities / Day-to-Day
- Direct and manage the scope, schedule, and budget for water and wastewater projects.
- Coordinate internal teams and resources to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare proposals, technical reports, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Facilitate public meetings and support client communication throughout project execution.
- Manage contracts, change orders, invoicing, and collections.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including relationship management and proposal pursuits.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management for staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum of five years’ professional experience that includes direct design of water and/or wastewater infrastructure, plus project management of those designs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard project management tools.
Preferred
- Experience with municipal clients in Pennsylvania.
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies and permitting requirements in the water/wastewater sector.
- Strong business development skills and ability to grow client accounts.
