What You’ll Do
As a Health & Safety Technician, you’ll conduct inspections, deliver training support, and help ensure client safety programs are followed. The specific responsibilities you take on will depend on your level of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site safety audits and inspections.
- Support or lead client safety programs and compliance reviews (scope depends on level).
- Identify hazards and recommend practical solutions.
- Write reports and communicate findings to project teams.
- Assist with or deliver safety training.
- Travel regularly to job sites (about 75% of the role).
Required:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in safety (level depends on years in the field):
- Technician I – 1–3 years of experience.
- Technician II – 3–5 years of experience.
- Technician III – 5–7 years of experience.
- OSHA 30 or other safety certifications (CSP, CHST, etc.).
- Background in construction, utilities, or energy markets.
