Requirements

6 or more years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2019-2025 including clustering.

Proficiency in STIG, IRS Pub 1075, NIST, and PCI security hardening standards.

Experience with PowerShell and JSON scripting for automated administrative tasks.

Experience in Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 and VMware infrastructure environments.

Experience with Quest Spotlight, Quest Litespeed, and database backup/recovery solutions.

Experience in LAN/VLAN networking and hyperconverged infrastructure optimization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities

Direct the strategic planning and deployment of enterprise database infrastructure projects.

Design and analyze physical and logical database architectures for complex application systems.

Monitor database performance and integrity to ensure consistent adherence to Service Level Agreements.

Author technical compliance documentation to integrate security standards into agency processes.

Support high-availability disaster recovery, failover scenarios, and server optimization initiatives.

Execute software upgrades and hardware maintenance within a multi-layer secured environment.

Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical guidance for database infrastructure improvements.
