Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience in SQL Server database administration and enterprise operations.
- Proficiency in performance tuning, query optimization, and Always On Availability Groups.
- Experience with data warehouse architecture, fact/dimension loading, and Power BI backend support.
- Experience in SQL Server security hardening, role-based access control, and auditing.
- Experience with automation scripting, T-SQL development, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Experience in ETL process optimization, data remediation, and cross-database standardization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer high-availability SQL Server instances across multiple mission-critical production environments.
- Optimize complex stored procedures, dynamic SQL, and CTE-heavy workloads to reduce blocking.
- Implement robust disaster recovery strategies, backup validation, and failover cluster configurations.
- Engineer reusable administrative scripts for multi-database updates and security compliance audits.
- Design and refine ETL workflows to support large-scale reporting and data warehouse platforms.
- Enforce data governance standards through referential integrity reconciliation and legacy data cleanup.
- Coordinate with application teams to integrate database schema changes into deployment pipelines.
