Requirements

5 or more years of experience in business intelligence architecture and Looker platform development.

Experience with migrating complex legacy SQL Server reporting systems into Looker environments.

Experience in advanced SQL scripting, complex data joins, aggregations, and performance tuning.

Experience with Google Cloud SQL databases and cloud-native data warehouse architectures.

Experience in delivering technical training, user enablement workshops, and LookML best-practice documentation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities

Migrate existing legacy SQL queries, reports, and business logic into optimized Looker dashboards.

Architect and deploy robust LookML models, explores, dimensions, and measures across datasets.

Connect and configure Looker reporting models with underlying Google Cloud SQL database instances.

Audit existing reporting structures to optimize query performance, scalability, and dashboard visualization.

Validate migrated reporting outputs against legacy datasets to ensure strict data consistency and accuracy.

Troubleshoot complex SQL syntax errors, LookML calculation discrepancies, and data modeling bottlenecks.

Conduct hands-on Looker training sessions and develop technical documentation for internal engineering teams.
