Chemical/Environmental Engineer III- Water Tr

JOB DESCRIPTION: To provide technical support for our customers and sales team. Supports the lab and production team with product development and process improvement.

Primary Responsibility

• Will be the first point of contact for all technical inquiries
• Will support our customers by interacting with our lab, technical management and sales staff via phone and email
• Will prepare performance projections of our products manually, and with proprietary software for ion exchange resins, activated carbon and specialty separation technologies and products.
• Will enter and manage data in CRM.
• Will report to outside sales on all customer communications, national and international.
• Will work with sales and technical management to get timely accurate answers to technical questions and customer inquiries.
• Proficient in general water purification technologies Including ion exchange resin, activate carbon, specialty adsorption and related technologies.
• Utilize our extensive technical library to solve customer applications and provide solutions.
• Assist / author papers for publication at trade shows, presentations, seminars and training classes.
• Assist with R&D projects and new product development.
• Assists with technical writing of sales and marketing materials.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• BS Engineering or Chemistry
• 5 years Water Treatment Experience
• Ion Exchange Experience a plus
• Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Occasional Travel on Airplanes
• Stand for long periods of time
• Light lifting
