We are seeking a dedicated, dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including hospitality, hotels, and industrial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and well-maintained for guests and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; and sanitize bathrooms.
- Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred; experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required during cleaning tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
