Housekeeping DepartmentPart-Time Hourly Position

Job Description

The Housekeeping Department is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for our tenants, Masonic members, guests, and visitors. Housekeeping staff are expected to take pride in their work and help provide a first-class appearance throughout the building.

This position has the potential to become a Lead Housekeeping position based on experience, performance, leadership ability, and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Follow the assigned cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Clean offices, restrooms, common areas, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment safely and properly.
• Complete special cleaning projects as assigned by the Facility Manager.
• Keep cleaning equipment clean and in good working order.
• Report broken equipment, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to the Facility Manager.
• Notify the Facility Manager when cleaning supplies need to be restocked.
• Remove trash and recycling from assigned areas.
• Work independently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Honest, trustworthy, and respectful of tenant privacy.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

• Employees must maintain a high level of honesty, professionalism, and confidentiality while working throughout the building.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
