Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities within our hotel property. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in industrial and electrical maintenance, and the ability to lead a team effectively. This role involves ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of the facility through proactive maintenance management and supervision of maintenance staff. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining high guest satisfaction by ensuring all hotel systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across all hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools
- Manage facilities management projects, including repairs, upgrades, and renovations
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, low voltage, high voltage, and industrial maintenance systems
- Conduct inspections to identify potential safety hazards or system failures and address them promptly
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities using CMMS software
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage and low voltage systems)
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate repairs with minimal disruption to hotel operations
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies necessary for maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in facilities management or industrial maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Technical proficiency in electrical (including high voltage and low voltage), mechanical systems, HVAC, and industrial equipment repair
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools such as multimeters
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance scheduling
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, high voltage, and industrial environments
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and reporting
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems
