Position Summary

The Morning Warehouse Lead is responsible for preparing daily delivery operations by ensuring all equipment, vehicles, and drivers are ready for successful route execution. This role provides day-to-day operational leadership by coordinating morning warehouse activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and serving as the primary resource for drivers and technicians during dispatch preparation.

The role serves as a critical quality control point for the operation, ensuring accuracy in equipment staging, asset tracking, documentation, and vehicle readiness before departures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Kit, stage, and verify all equipment for scheduled daily deliveries.
• Check in delivery drivers upon arrival and confirm readiness for assigned routes.
• Verify all equipment against job tickets and delivery requirements.
• Ensure accurate completion of asset system check-out procedures.
• Support safe and efficient loading of delivery vehicles.
• Confirm all required backup equipment and documentation is completed before departure.
• Ensure oxygen logs and other required compliance documentation are accurately completed.
• Coordinate urgent equipment changes and last-minute operational adjustments.
• Receive, sort, and organize incoming deliveries for designated warehouse locations.
• Receive Oxygen Tanks as needed
• Photograph vehicle interiors and exteriors prior to technician departure.
• Build, assemble, and asset tag new equipment as needed.
• Enter and remove items from stock with precision and thorough documentation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and assist with cleaning and sanitization of durable medical equipment (DME).
• Audit warehouse to ensure accuracy of rental, demo and new inventory items.

Measures of Success

The Morning Warehouse Lead is successful when:

• All delivery equipment is staged accurately and ready for scheduled departures.
• Drivers leave the depot with the correct equipment, documentation, and supplies.
• Asset check-outs are completed accurately with no missing or undocumented equipment.
• Last-minute equipment changes are handled efficiently with minimal disruption to operations.
• Incoming deliveries are received, organized, and processed promptly.
• The warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Delivery vehicles are verified as ready for departure, and all required documentation and records are completed accurately. Equipment is properly built, tagged, repaired, cleaned, and prepared for future use as needed.
• Daily delivery operations begin on time with no preventable loading or staging errors.
• All inventory audits reflect accurate counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or healthcare operations preferred.
• Experience with inventory control, asset tracking, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of initiative
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• The warehouse is clean, organized, and ready for the next operational cycle.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or asset management systems.
• Ability to use a pallet stacker and pallet jack

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely handle, load, and organize medical equipment and supplies.
• Ability to climb a ladder

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
