Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the daily planning and execution of delivery operations, route optimization, inventory coordination, and operational support. This role assumes ownership of the delivery schedule after the morning handoff from Customer Care, ensuring efficient execution of deliveries, timely response to same-day requests, and effective utilization of operational resources. The Operations Coordinator also supports continuous improvement initiatives, including inventory management, technology implementation, and process optimization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery operations, route optimization, and driver assignments.
- Manage same-day delivery requests and operational schedule adjustments.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues throughout the day.
- Oversee inventory availability and equipment allocation to meet customer needs by reviewing next day’s orders to determine equipment needs for scheduled deliveries.
- Identify required equipment builds based on upcoming demand, what equipment is expected back (returned/dirty) and communicate build requirements clearly to Operations Leads to ensure readiness for next operational day.
- Ensure equipment availability aligns with scheduled demand to prevent service delays.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate equipment recovery.
- Complete inventory audits and support purchasing for operational needs.
- Analyze operational reports and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Lead or support implementation of operational technology, including inventory management systems and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Customer Care and Operations Leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Prepare the following day's schedule and ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or related field
- Three or more years of experience in operations, logistics, dispatch, inventory management, or a related field.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with routing, inventory management, or ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong aptitude for learning and implementing new software and technology.

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
