The Afternoon / Closing Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring all company assets are accurate. This includes returned rental and demo equipment, stock rental assets in the warehouse, new physical inventory for sale and operational materials. This role ensures that all categories of assets are accurately received, reconciled, and recorded at the end of the delivery day. This role ensures system accuracy, resolves discrepancies in real time, and prepares the operation for a clean and accurate start the following day.

This position serves as the final quality control checkpoint in the operational cycle, ensuring all physical equipment matches system records and all outstanding issues are identified and resolved before close of business.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive all returned equipment from delivery drivers as they return to the depot.
• Match returned equipment to job tickets and delivery records.
• Reconcile discrepancies in real time and obtain required documentation for corrections.
• Ensure all asset management systems are fully updated and accurate for returned equipment.
• Flag missing, damaged, or incomplete items immediately for resolution.
• Support receiving and processing of incoming deliveries for designated warehouse areas (Units 1 and 3).
• Build, assemble, and asset tag new equipment as required.
• Enter and remove items from stock with precision and thorough documentation.
• Perform equipment fit-up to ensure readiness for future deployment.
• Receive Oxygen Tanks as needed
• Receive, sort, and organize incoming deliveries for designated warehouse locations.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and assist with cleaning and sanitization of durable medical equipment (DME).
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, safety and end-of-day readiness standards.
• Audit warehouse to ensure accuracy of rental, demo and new inventory items.

Measures of Success

The Afternoon / Closing Lead is successful when:

• Physical returned equipment matches the asset management system with no discrepancies.
• All returned items are properly logged, reconciled, and accounted for same day.
• There is no unresolved uncertainty regarding equipment status at end of day.
• Incoming deliveries are received, organized, and processed promptly.
• Missing or damaged items are identified, documented, and escalated immediately.
• The asset system is fully accurate and reflects real-time inventory status.
• Equipment is properly built, tagged, repaired, cleaned, and prepared for future use as needed.
• Next-day staging lists are prepared accurately and handed off without gaps.
• The warehouse is clean, organized, and ready for the next operational cycle.
• The next day begins with a clear, accurate, and fully reconciled operational baseline.
• All inventory audits reflect accurate counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or healthcare equipment handling preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy under time constraints.
• Experience with inventory systems, asset tracking, or shipping/receiving systems preferred.
• High level of initiative
• Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve issues in real time.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use inventory or asset management systems.
• Ability to use a pallet stacker and pallet jack

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling of equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely handle, clean, and transport medical equipment and supplies.
• Ability to climb a ladder

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
